ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your daughter! Six years ago, I ruptured my achilles tendon and was out for about a year-- for an athletic person, that's a lifetime! Some good magazines and books, decorations for the crutches or walking boot, and dark shadows reruns were what kept me happy. Well, that, and an awesome PT team focussed on bringing me back to pre-injury levels.
ReplyDeleteThat injury taught me a lot about myself and gave me some amazing gifts (and an awesome scar.) You really never know what might come out of a moment of bad luck, but a silver lining is always there.
