Foreign Finds!! (And a fun foreign giveaway!)

I've made some really fun discoveries this week! A package came on Wednesday and this was in it!

The left is the Italian hardcover of Original Sin! I didn't even know that Original Sin (or as the Italians are calling it, Il Bacio del Peccato- The Kiss of Sin) had published in Italy. This is very exciting to me!!! The one on the right (Il Bacio Maledetto--The Cursed Kiss) is the new Italian Personal Demons paperback. In case you forgot, here's the original Il Bacio Maledetto cover:

And, also fun is my discovery yesterday of a trailer my German publisher (Rowohlt) did for Cynthia Hand's Uneartlhy, Alexandra Adornetto's Halo, my Original Sin (Angel Eyes in Germany) and Nora Melling's Shatten Blute (which as far as I can tell is only available in German). Here it is:

Also, in addition to the Italian cover, I found the Spanish cover for Original Sin! (Or, Pecado Original :p)

Not quite sure what Frannie's doing there... Gabe is obviously praying for divine intervention. ;p

The 2012 publication schedule for Original Sin seems to be May 3rd in Italy, July 31st in Spain, and August 1st in Germany. Click the country for the Amazon or B&N buy page =)

And, because you know how I love to give stuff away, here's a chance to win one of these:

Yep! One lucky winner will get to choose either the Spanish, German or Italian translation of Personal Demons! As always, this contest is international. To enter, all you have to do is fill out the form below. One bonus point for leaving a comment about why you want one of the translations. The contest ends next Monday, June 4th at noon, PDT.

Buona fortuna!!

  4. I picked the Spanish version because the cover is just beautiful (It was a really a hard choice between Spanish or Italian because I love my Italian version of Eighth Grade Bites)

  9. Hi Lisa,
Sorry to write you on the blog, but I'm worried my email may be stuck in your spam filter (either that, or you're touring)! Can you let me know if you are still on to speak at the Sept 24th Silicon Valley RWA meeting? Thank you! --Barbara Conly, VP Programs
