Addicted to NA massive NEW ADULT GIVEAWAY!

As a writer, you know you've totally hit the jackpot when you score an agent like Suzie Townsend. She is a bona fide rockstar. And when Jo Volpe took the leap and started up a new agency, New Leaf Literary (of which Suzie is a part), that lottery turned into Powerball. New Leaf does more to support its clients than any other agency I've ever heard of, from orchestrating group author events all over the country, to organizing events like this: Addicted to NA. Happy Agent's Day to the whole New Leaf crew!

So, without further ado, here is the deal. New Leaf Literary is prompting six New Adult titles releasing between now and September, some by the fantabulous Cora Carmack (my agent and editor sister :D), and one of which is A LITTLE TOO FAR, by moi. And this is your chance to win ALL OF THEM! Check out the rafflecopter below to enter. And for a chance at A LITTLE TOO FAR swag, enter here.

Most of you probably know what new adult is, but in case you want more info, check out my post here or the Addicted to NA link above, where my incredible agent gives you her perspective.

And...now the contest. Knock yourselves out, and good luck!

  1. I am 32, so I like that the characters are more my age. Out of high school at least. And a little sexy times doesn't hurt.

  4. NA has alot of emotions and the self-independence aspects that it keeps the story very interesting. Of course it takes me back to the time when I was their age :)

  5. NA allows authors to focus on a wider array of subjects and events in a person's life - life in or after college. If the YA years are about facing major transitions, the NA years are about living through them

  6. I'm 24 and NA show us all the struggles we go at this time. Plus the hot scenes help too :)

  7. NA in my opinion is a bit more exciting because it focuses on more serious issues and typically the characters are more independent.

  8. I really enjoy watching characters find themselves, and that is often a key element of New Adult, and of course more sexy scenes!

  9. I love NA because it gives me an escape. I can pretend I'm the character and live in their dream world for a while. All the stresses of the real world go away for at least a little while.

  10. It shows that transition to becoming an adult. It's different from the regular YA that is also very popular.

  11. It's nice to read about college students/20 somethings coming into their own, because I can relate to that more than in high school, which I spent mostly concentrating on academics.

  12. NA stories have characters that are a little older than YA. They are still learning and growing and making good and bad decisions.

  13. It's nice to read a more mature take on stories but not quite that serious.

  15. Sorry. I posted the last comment on the wrong post. I like new adults because they often have new ideas.

  16. I both like it and hate it. It reminds me of some of the stupid things that you did when you were that age and I like it because it is out of high school.

  17. I think with new adult you don't have to tiptoe around that awkward phase from teenager to an adult. You, as an author, can tackle all those all those issues head on and not have to worry about readers getting upset that the material is "too mature."

  18. With new adult I feel more connected to the characters because they are closer to my age an that allows me to better feel the emotions that they feel.

  19. I love feeling immersed in a story I could relate to on some level. I love a great love story and the romance <3

  20. I love the more mature subject matters and the emotional intensity. It fills the gap between YA and Adult but keeps the young energetic vibe.
