Next Thursday, Carrie Vaughn and I will be speaking at the County of Los Angeles Public Library's Reader Advisory Workshop. I'm told they expect 80-100 librarians to be there. The topic is, Beyond Twilight: The Secret Lives of Paranormals. I can't even tell you how much fun putting together this presentation has been. And, like serendipity, Personal Demons was just selected as a Library Journal Fall Firsts pick. This is, like, so cool!
I am in my library constantly. I know my library card number by heart. (And it's long!) There is nothing that makes me happier than the thought of Personal Demons being in libraries where everyone can enjoy it. So, I was THRILLED to make this list. (And my Booklist review didn't suck either :p) It's these reviews and lists that librarians all over the country look to when making purchases for their collections.Thank you Library Journal and Booklist for bailing my butt out and giving Personal Demons some credibility.
