A LITTLE TOO FAR cover! (And a contest for never-before-seen ALTF swag!)

AHHHH! Here it is! There aren't even words for how excited I am about this cover! The HarperCollins/William Morrow art department are my very favorite people at the moment (along with my seriously cool editor, my fabulous publicist, and the digital marketing maven, who did the fun widget).

I love this book. It was a whirlwind to write, and Lexie took me on a wild ride in the process. I hope all y'all have as much fun reading it as I had writing it. There are so many reasons this cover is perfect, which you will know if you decide to take the ride with Lexie. The book is HOT and I dare you to tell me the cover isn't.

So, now I get to share it with you! But, before I get to that...there's a contest at the bottom of this post for one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen A LITTLE TOO FAR swag, so don't forget to enter!

And a few more things about A LITTLE TOO FAR...

First, to whet your appetite, here's what Jennifer L. Armentrout had to say about it:
"More than a ridiculously sexy, HOT read, Desrochers takes you on a wild ride of self-discovery and bittersweet romance." - Jennifer L. Armentrout (J. Lynn), #1 New York Times Bestselling author of Wait for You

And, if that's not enough, here's the back flap:

Have you ever gone just a little too far?

Lexie Banks has.

Yep. She just had mind-blowing sex with her stepbrother. In her defense, she was on the rebound, and it’s more of a my-dad-happened-to-marry-a-woman-with-a-super-hot-son situation. But still, he’s been her best friend and confidant for better part of the last few years…and is so off limits. It’s a good thing she’s leaving in two days for a year abroad in Rome. But even thousands of miles away, Lexie can’t seem to escape trouble. Raised Catholic, she goes to Confession in hopes of alleviating some of her guilt…and maybe not burning in hell. Instead, she stumbles out of the confessional right into Alessandro Moretti, a young and very easy on the eyes deacon…only eight months away from becoming a priest. Lexie and Alessandro grow closer, and when Alessandro’s signals start changing despite his vow of celibacy, she doesn’t know what to think. She’s torn between falling in love with the man she shouldn’t want and the man she can’t have. And she isn’t sure how she can live with herself either way.

And, now...the cover:

If you hate it, don't tell me, cuz I am sooo in love with it. =)

So, then we have the contest! The kanji symbol for knowledge is central to this novel, so, by way of a teaser and also to explain the meaning of the contest prize:

I trace a finger along the lines of the tattoo over his heart—the kanji symbol for knowledge—as he grasps my thighs and rolls his hips underneath me.

Close up of pendant:                                                                Close up of tattoo (actual size):

  4. YAY, Lisa! I love your new book's cover so much, and I can't wait to get my hands on this book!

Hmmm, I went a little too far when color-coded my office supplies. Down to pencil erasers and binder clips and calendars... everything was color-coded to specific subjects. I mean, I don't think I went a little too far, but my sister definitely thought so :D

    Thanks!

  7. Great cover and the book sounds amazing!! Can't wait to get my hands on it :)

I always go too far. Whether it's an argument, a hobby, activity, anything other than my office...I push it. I think the one time in particular I REALLY went too far was when I decided I was going to get bikini ready last year. I spent hours researching the best exercises, which gyms i should use, the best active wear...you name it! Then I proceeded to go out and buy all this stuff. I'm talking yoga pants, sneakers, water bottles, equipment, videos....my living room looked like a mini gym! Too bad I spent all that money and never once touched any of it, lol. Ended up selling the lot of it after my Treadmill turned into a coat rack. *Sigh* I'm not allowed to get new hobby ideas anymore. Lol

  8. This is stupid but funny. I went way too far when I was 10 and made the stuffing for Thanksgiving. I used an entire box of poultry seasoning. When the bird was done my grandmother commented on the dressing being so green. Then was tasted it - OH MY!

I loved this cover. The models have beautiful profiles.
    Thank you.

  13. I'm sure there was a time when I went a little too far, but nothing really comes to mind at the moment.

  14. The only thing that comes to mind is when I was 18 and I was told not to have any stress around my dad because his aorta was 98% blocked and anything could cause him to have a massive heart attack. We were just waiting for all his test to come back before surgery. My brother and his girlfriend came over and I told them they had to leave. So I ran to the store and came back and there was 5 more people over. Well I lost it and turned real ugly. She hit me and I beat the crap outta her. So that is a time I can think that things went too far.
