My truly fabulous agent called this morning with GREAT news! We received a pre-empt today from German publisher Rowohlt. Apparently, they’re “very eager” about Personal Demons, which is good, cuz so am I. =) So, German people will be reading my book…in GERMAN! OMG! It’s kinda messing with my head that there’ll be something out there in the world that I wrote, but CAN’T READ! O_O
In the meantime, I’m revising Original Sin so I can send it off to my super-stupendous crit partner.
What are you all working on? Anything wild happening in your WIP? Love to hear it =)

I'd always wonder if the translation changes the story in little ways. Ever run a statement from English to another language and then back to English using Babelfish? Scary...

I have, and you're right. I'm hoping an actual human is doing the translation. They'd be more likely to pick up on nuances, me thinks.
