Kody Keplinger’s debut is nothing short of amazing. Her main character, Bianca, is authentically 17, struggling through authentic 17-year-old insecurities and self-doubt. Throw in some pretty serious family issues, and Bianca finds herself in over her head. Watching Bianca struggle—and find distraction in all the wrong places (read: studly man-whore, Wesley Rush)—I found myself cringing, laughing and crying in equal parts, and couldn’t wait to see how it would all turn out.
So, what are you waiting for?
I'm really excited about reading The DUFF. I can't wait for it to be released after hearing so many great things about it. ^.~
